This series of images attempts to highlight and resolve the twin human desires for the urban and the pastoral. The images also bear a strange relationship to landscape painting, with elements that are usually seen in the context of landscape separated from the land itself but melded to the infinite blue of the sky. They also point to the inescapable fact of structure, whatever the context, and the differences and similarities between the structural forms of nature and those of an industrialised humanity.
